This was a project I did for my UX Design 2 course. In it, we were tasked with doing two things: First, finding a way to improve the inventory system in Minecraft, and then later making adjustments to our proposal after a design pivot was chosen for the game.
The improvement that I proposed and wireframed was the addition of a tagging system to the game, to make searching for items easier on players and to provide them with more possible ways of sorting these items. The pivot that I responded to was one where larger items took up more inventory space. Not only did I wireframe what that system could potentially look like, I also demonstrated how it would not significantly impact my previous proposal, and in fact, could add to the possible tags for the system.
I created presentations alongside the wireframes, one for the initial version, and one for the pivot.
