Sunlit Night is a First-Person Dungeon Crawling RPG, that chronicles the journey of Hyacinth (the player) as they delve into the ruins beneath their hometown in pursuit of their mentor, who has beckoned an ancient evil that now destroys the land.

I was the sole UI/UX Designer on the team, and as a result I created and designed both the layouts and assets of nearly every piece of UI in the game. I can count on one hand the few bits of UI that did not have my hand or involvement in their creation in some way. I also imported the font assets, and did most major UI implementation.

Something I attempted to push a lot of focus on when I was designing the UI and also communicating the needs of the UI to the rest of the team was the role of accessibility. This comes across primarily through the consideration of Colorblind accessibility, as I put each asset and UI piece through various filters and playtests to see if they remained readable and usable to people with various degrees of colorblindness.
