Untitled Witch Game is one of my earliest game projects in my school career. It was also made during a turbulent time in my life, full of learning opportunities and a rare amount of open time. It is the first project I genuinely feel proud about having worked on, even though looking back on it, there are many things I would want to change or fix about it.
The game was meant to be a group project, with three of us making a prototype and not a full game. In the end, we lost a member, so two of us with enough spare time to work full 40 hour weeks were able to crank this out. Even with that, we overscoped it heavily, and ended up crunching heavily to turn it in.
My job on the team was to create and design the UI of the game, along with its levels. In addition, I created any additional art and sound effects that we needed. The result is what I think is a great example of where I started out, with only a year of college study under my belt and an eagerness to prove myself and my skills on a team.
